Apartment 4 is a compact, cosy studio at Lieblingsquartier in St. Andreasberg – perfect for couples and solo travellers who come to the Harz to hike, bike or ski and want a quiet, well-equipped base in the evening. Its 27 m² have everything you need for a relaxing short break or a whole week for two. Your dog is welcome to come along.

Living and cooking

Living, sleeping and cooking share one bright room. The kitchenette is surprisingly complete: hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, plus a Nespresso Vertuo machine and a filter coffee maker. Enjoy breakfast or a dinner for two at the small dining table. A smart TV, JBL Bluetooth speaker and free Wi-Fi keep you entertained.

Sleeping

The studio has a comfortable double box-spring bed for a restful night after an active day in the Harz. Blackout options and a wardrobe are provided.

Bathroom

The modern shower room has a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and hairdryer.

Need more space?

Travelling with friends or family? Apartment 4 can be combined with Apartment 5 as the LQ Family Suite 4-5 for up to 6 guests. For groups, the entire house is available as the Full House with 13 apartments and up to 54 beds.

The Lieblingsquartier

The house has a lobby with bar and lounge, a roof terrace and a large garden with barbecue and playground. A washing machine and dryer are available to all guests, parking at the house is free and there is a charging station for electric cars. Thanks to the digital locking system you let yourself into the house and your apartment with a code or transponder. If you fancy some company after a day out, you’ll meet other guests in the lounge or at a barbecue on the roof terrace.

Location

Lieblingsquartier is at Clausthaler Straße 5, at around 600 m altitude in the Upper Harz. Restaurants, cafés and shops are just a few minutes’ walk away. Hiking trails start right at the house, the summer toboggan run and bike park on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg are close by, and the Wurmberg in Braunlage and the Brocken are a short drive away. In winter you’ll find ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills.

Good to know

Bed linen and towels are compulsory and booked as a linen package (€20 per person). A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am. A free starter pack with coffee, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid is waiting for you on arrival, and a cot is available free of charge on request.
