The LQ Family Suite 4-5 combines Studio 4 and Apartment 5 at Lieblingsquartier into one holiday apartment in the Harz for up to 6 guests. Both units sit behind a shared entrance hall but can be used separately, each with its own kitchen and bathroom. It is a great fit for parents with older children, grandparents with grandchildren or two couples who want to holiday together in St. Andreasberg and still close their own door at night. Your dog is very welcome.

Living and cooking

Apartment 5 is bright and furnished with designer pieces: the seating area with a comfy sofa and smart TV is the place to unwind after a hike, and the dining table is where you eat or play games together. Studio 4 offers a cosy living and sleeping room with kitchenette and dining spot – ideal for reading, listening to music or a quiet dinner for two. Both kitchens are fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso Vertuo machine and filter coffee maker, and Apartment 5 also has a microwave. High-speed Wi-Fi and a JBL Bluetooth speaker are provided.

Sleeping

The bedroom in Apartment 5 has a high-quality double box-spring bed, and the living room adds a full-size double sofa bed. In Studio 4 two guests sleep in a comfortable double box-spring bed. That way each couple has its own space.

Bathroom

Each unit has its own shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, basin, toilet and hairdryer – so there is no queue for the bathroom in the morning.

The Lieblingsquartier

Lobby with bar and lounge for getting together, roof terrace, large garden with barbecue and playground, and a washing machine and dryer for all guests. Free parking and an EV charging point are right at the house, and check-in is easy with the digital lock system using a code or key fob.

Location

You stay at Clausthaler Straße 5, at around 600 m altitude in the Upper Harz, with restaurants, cafés and shops just a few minutes’ walk away. Hiking trails start at the front door, and the summer toboggan run and bike park await on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg. The Wurmberg and the Brocken are a short drive away, and in winter you can head for the ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills.

Good to know

The linen package with bed linen and towels is mandatory (€20 per person). A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. A cot is available free of charge on request, and a free starter pack with coffee, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid is provided. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
