The LQ Family Suite 2-3 combines two self-contained ground-floor apartments at Lieblingsquartier into one spacious Harz holiday apartment that sleeps up to 8. Its 137 m² or so are ideal for families with children, parents travelling with grandparents or two families who are friends. Both apartments share a private entrance hall but each has its own front door, kitchen and bathroom, so you can spend plenty of time together while everyone still has a place to retreat to. Your dog is very welcome.

Living and cooking

Each apartment has a cosy living area with sofa and smart TV, plus a JBL Bluetooth speaker and free Wi-Fi. In Apartment 2 the kitchenette and dining area are part of the bright living room with large windows. Apartment 3 has a large kitchen with dining table – the natural meeting point for breakfast together or a games night. Both kitchens are fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso Vertuo machine and filter coffee maker.

Sleeping

Each apartment has a bedroom with a double box-spring bed, smart TV and plenty of storage. The living rooms each have a sofa bed for two that turns into a proper bed in no time – perfect for the kids. High chairs are available on request.

Bathroom

Apartment 2 has a modern shower room with walk-in shower, Apartment 3 a large bathroom with walk-in shower and bathtub – handy when the little ones want a splash before bedtime. Hairdryers are provided, and there is also a guest toilet.

Need more space?

Add Apartment 1 on the ground floor and the suite becomes Lieblingsquartier 14 for up to 14 guests. For big family celebrations or group trips, book the whole house as the Full House with 13 apartments and up to 54 beds.

The Lieblingsquartier

Shared lobby with bar and lounge, roof terrace, large garden with barbecue and a playground with climbing frame, swing and slide, washing machine and dryer, plus free parking and an EV charging point at the house. Thanks to the digital lock system you can arrive at your own pace using a code or key fob.

Location

Lieblingsquartier is at Clausthaler Straße 5, at around 600 m altitude in the Upper Harz. Restaurants, cafés and shops are within walking distance. Hiking trails start at the house, the summer toboggan run and bike park on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg are close by, and the Wurmberg and the Brocken are just a short drive away. In winter the whole family can enjoy ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills.

Good to know

The linen package with bed linen and towels is mandatory (€20 per person). A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. Cots are available free of charge on request, and a free starter pack with coffee, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid is waiting for you. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
