Apartment 12 at Lieblingsquartier is a cosy Harz apartment for couples looking for a quiet break – right in the centre of St. Andreasberg in the Upper Harz. With around 47 m² it sleeps up to 4 guests, so a small family or two friendly couples will be comfortable too. Your dog is very welcome.

Living and cooking

The living room with sofa, armchair, smart TV and Bluetooth speaker is the place to unwind in the evening. The dining area is part of the living space – perfect for a long breakfast or a games night for two. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine and filter coffee maker. Your first coffee is taken care of: capsules, ground coffee, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid come in our free starter pack.

Sleeping

The bedroom has a comfortable double box-spring bed and a wardrobe for your things. In the living room a pull-out sofa bed sleeps two more. A cot is available free of charge on request.

Need more space?

Apartment 12 connects to neighbouring Apartment 11 via an internal door. Book both as the LQ Family Suite 11-12 for up to 9 guests, or add the penthouse as Lieblingsquartier 15 for up to 15 guests.

The Lieblingsquartier

Shared lobby with bar and lounge, roof terrace, large garden with barbecue and playground, washing machine and dryer, and free parking at the house with an EV charging point. Thanks to the digital lock system you check in easily with a code or key fob. Apartment 12 has its own entrance at the back of the house: a small bridge leads onto your private terrace. The car park opposite the fire station is the most convenient.

Location

Lieblingsquartier is at Clausthaler Straße 5, around 600 m above sea level in the Upper Harz. The old town, restaurants, cafés and shops are an easy walk away. Hiking trails start right at the house, the summer toboggan run and bike park on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg are close by, and the Wurmberg and the Brocken are just a short drive away. In winter there are ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills. Whether it’s a winter weekend for two or a summer hiking holiday – your break starts right on the doorstep.

Good to know

Bed linen and towels must be booked as a linen package (€20 per person). A flat fee per stay applies for dogs. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
