Apartment 8 at Lieblingsquartier is your compact, cosy holiday apartment in the Upper Harz – a great base for active days on the slopes or the trails. Its 32 m² sleep up to 4 guests, whether a couple, a small family or friends. Ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills around St. Andreasberg are quickly reached, and in the evening you come back to a warm, modern apartment.

Living and cooking

The living and dining area has a comfy sofa, a smart TV and a large dining table with room for everyone – for shared meals or a games night after a day on the slopes. The adjoining kitchenette is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge-freezer, Nespresso Vertuo capsule machine and filter coffee maker. JBL speakers and free Wi-Fi complete the picture.

Sleeping

The bedroom has a comfortable double box-spring bed, a second smart TV and large windows for plenty of daylight. In the living room, the sofa bed quickly turns into a bed for two more guests or children.

Bathroom

Shower room with walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and hairdryer – everything you need after a day outdoors.

The Lieblingsquartier

Shared lobby with bar and lounge, roof terrace, large garden with barbecue and playground, washing machine and dryer, plus free parking and an EV charging point at the house. Thanks to the digital lock system, you check in flexibly with a code or key fob.

Location

Lieblingsquartier is at Clausthaler Straße 5, at around 600 m altitude in the Upper Harz. Restaurants, cafés and shops are a few minutes’ walk away. Hiking trails start right at the house, the summer toboggan run and bike park on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg are close by, and the Wurmberg in Braunlage and the Brocken are a short drive away. In winter you’ll find ski slopes, cross-country trails and sledging hills.

Good to know

Bed linen and towels are booked as a mandatory linen package (€20 per person). A free starter pack with coffee, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid is waiting for you on arrival. Dogs are welcome for a flat fee per stay, and a cot is available free of charge on request. Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 10 am.
